Personal Background:

Miguel and Judy are happily married and they have 2 children, Sheila 27, who is a graduate of San Jose State University, and is currently teaching at Fremont Unified School District, and Derek 24. Miguel & Judy's commitment to the community has a long history. They have supported the Make A Wish Foundation since 1984 and Miguel has served as a Board of Director for Child Family and Community Services (Head Start) for the Southern Alameda County for 7 years. His wife Judy has volunteered numerous hours delivering food to the elderly for Meals on Wheels. They both have a big heart for children and the elderly. Miguel  & Judy enjoy many hobbies such as golf, scuba diving, hiking, camping, and bike riding.  Miguel is also bi-lingual and is fluent in Spanish.
